Appears to be just 2 owners, 82,000 miles on odometer. Oil pressure at 75psi cold, runs like a champ…right out of the weeds of Conn. Leather seats that are in great shape, needs lots of cosmetic work, repaint, and trailing arm repair. Rest of chassis and body are in fine shape. Running and Driveable Project- all matching numbers car. Commission # CF21281U, Engine# CF21728UE, Body# 21782CC. Car has been brought to a point where it can be driven (not much farther than on/off trailer) with more work on the electrical - mainly lighting, and various things to pass inspection. Yes, the differential leaks and there feels like too much play in it, steering wobbles a bit....BUT, it's a PROJECT. Genuine NYS clear title. Last inspected and on road in 2002.
The best part of the car is the interior: Original seats are really great and they just need stuffing & new diaphrams, all the panels look new with just a small rip in one of the dash pads, carpet is fair to good, floors are pretty good and solid. Convertible top is new, chrome bumpers have good chrome with some minor pitting, but no dents. Looks to be a newer windshield. Frame seems solid with typical surface rust - nothing that weakens frame and no holes. Engine bay looks good, still set up as original, even with all the vacuum and emissions gear.
